Our flat fee ($999-$1,999) covers all pre-trip strategy and coordination: medical record review, facilitating a preliminary specialist consultation, providing a feasibility report, securing hospital appointments, visa assistance, and logistical planning. It does not include medical treatment costs or on-the-ground In-Patient Coordination service. See detailed breakdown.
Pre-Trip Consulting is done remotely to help you make an informed "Go/No-Go" decision. In-Patient Care Coordination is an on-the-ground service package (starting from ~$1,500) that provides in-person support (translation, navigation, coordination) during your actual treatment in China. They are separate services that can be used independently or together.
Treatment costs vary by procedure but are typically 50-80% lower than US prices. For example, a total knee replacement ranges from $7,000-$12,000 (all-inclusive), compared to $30,000-$50,000 in the US. You will receive a transparent, all-inclusive quote as part of our consulting service before you decide to travel.
For a Second Opinion: Typically 2-3 weeks from receiving your complete records to delivering the written report.
For Complex Treatment Evaluation: 3-4 weeks for the full feasibility assessment.
For Actual Treatment: If you decide to proceed, treatment can usually be scheduled within 4-8 weeks.
We need your complete medical history: doctor's notes, imaging reports (MRI, CT, X-ray scans on CD/DVD or via cloud link), pathology reports, lab results, and a list of current medications. The more complete your records, the more accurate our assessment.
Citizens of many countries (including most European nations, Malaysia, etc.) can enter China visa-free for up to 15 days for tourism/business. For longer stays or specific medical treatment, a medical (M) visa may be required. We provide the necessary hospital invitation letter and guidance for the visa application. Check your eligibility.
Yes. As part of our Pre-Trip Consulting service, we provide recommendations and assistance with flights, accommodation near the hospital, and local transportation. For a full-service experience, our In-Patient Care Coordination packages include comprehensive travel coordination.
All our partner hospitals have international departments with English-speaking staff. Additionally, our In-Patient Coordination service provides dedicated multi-lingual coordinators who accompany you to appointments, translate medical discussions, and ensure clear communication throughout your stay.
We work exclusively with top-tier, internationally accredited hospitals (like West China Hospital, which is JCI-accredited). These are academic medical centers that train doctors and conduct research. Their specialists often have international training and publish in global medical journals.
Our partner hospitals have comprehensive protocols for managing complications, which are a risk in any major medical procedure. We strongly recommend purchasing international medical travel insurance. Our role includes helping you understand these risks and ensuring you receive appropriate informed consent from the treating physicians.
